This marks the second time this match between the two rivals has occurred at the facility. The Sept. 5, 2014 match set the attendance record for a soccer match in the state of Florida, drawing 73,429 fans, which at the time was the fourth-largest crowd for a soccer match in the U.S. during 2014.
Brazil, the most successful national team in the FIFA World Cup as a five-time champion – more than any other country –is the third-ranked team in the world. The team will compete in what has always been considered the toughest Confederation (CONMEBOL) in the football world. Brazil, which will hosting this year’s prestigious Copa America and heading up Group A, will be the heavy favorite to win the tournament. The team features some of the top players in the world such as Neymar, Philippe Coutinho, Marcelo Vieira, Casemiro, and new comers like Fred and Gabriel Jesus.
After an impressive showing at the 2018 World Cup, Colombia, who is currently ranked 12th in the world, has renewed energy and excitement due to the signing of new Head Coach Carlos Queiroz (who previously coached Iran in the last World Cup). Colombia, who is in Group B along with Argentina, is expected to go deep into the 2019 Copa America tournament this summer and features some of the top players in the world like James Rodriguez, Radamel Falcao, Juan Cuadrado, along with rising stars Juan Fernando Quintero and Yerry Mina.
