Latin Grammy Nominee J Alvarez to Perform at Orlando Magic’s Noche Latina

Orlando, Fla. As part of the Orlando Magic’s Noche Latina presented by FAIRWINDS Credit Union, Latin Grammy nominee and Reggaeton singer J Alvarez will perform a postgame concert on Friday, March 22 when the Orlando Magic take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Recently returning from a sold-out European tour, the Puerto-Rican based Alvarez will perform many of his top hits, including “Esa Boquita” and “De La Mia Personal,” which has received more than 83 million views on YouTube.

 

In addition to the Latin Grammy’s, Alvarez has been nominated for the Latin Billboard awards, Latin AMA’s, Premios Juventud, Premios Soberano, Premios Tu Musica Urbano and Premio Lo Nuestro. Last March, his album “La Fama que Camina” was one of just 13 albums that was certified by RIAA as Gold and Platinum, joining artists like Justin Timberlake, Drake, Camila Cabello and Cardi B who also received the honor.

 

I am very excited to be part of Noche Latina,” said J Alvarez. “I have always been a fan of basketball and have followed both teams very closely. I am grateful for the invitation and I am sure it will be an amazing night.”

Noche Latina presented by FAIRWINDS Credit Union, in partnership with MTN DEW, Salsa 98.1 and Universidad Ana G. Mendez, will celebrate the Orlando Magic’s Hispanic fan base and in addition to the postgame concert, the night will feature Latin-inspired music, dance, food and more.
