Florida Cup 2019

In its fourth consecutive year, the Florida Cup had just closed one more chapter in its glory. In our point of view, the main purpose is bring to the avid sport-Soccer fan, the opportunity to see quality European teams against Brazilian top soccer contenders.

This year, participating from Brazil, São Paulo- from SP, Flamengo from Rio, the AFC Ajax-Amsterdam, and The Eintracht – Frankfurt #6 in the Bundesliga. All teams played during the Tournament, in Orlando and Tampa, all with a great audience in numbers and enthusiasm, showing how powerful can an event like this unite such a large crowd of soccer enthusiasts.

In Orlando all games were performed at the new Orlando City Stadium.

All over the world, Soccer fans are defined by its passion, they make the games an attraction, with songs chanted, smoke, costumes, and gears. It is a wonderful spectacle to see. To create such a niche in Orlando-FL USA, the Florida Cup creators have succeeded, and we hope to their continuing success for many years.

The event, still young, is becoming solid, opening doors to other avenues, such as sport business, as the conference held on Friday and a 5K run today. As Florida Cup grows, more opportunities are presented, and we house and open the community to different Cultures, and ways to show the Beautiful Game. As Brazilians say “Jogo Bonito”. It is a celebration to Soccer!

Besides Sao Paulo huge following among the local Brazilian Community, Flamengo also gathered a great number of fans, that travelled from Brazil to Florida just to watch their favorite team. For sure, Florida Cup has accomplished a lot, since 2015, counting with the support of the City Of Orlando, through Mayor Buddy Dyer, Commissioner Samuel Ings, and Multicultural Director Luis M Martinez.

One of this years highlights was the presence of Mega Brazilian Singer Ivete Sangalo who added her shine to Saturday’s event just before the Flamengo x Eintracht game.

We are proud of the Florida Cup, we encourage and support iniciatives like these, because they give the Orlando Community a greater standard.

Congratulations to Ricardo Vilar and all involved for such a great event, Boi Brazil Steakhouse the official Florida Cup Restaurant, I-Drive NASCAR Indoor Kart Racing, MCA Transportation, and all other Companies who helped make this event so successful.
