Aretuza Caldas Garner, originally from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. She started Classical Ballet at age four years old and continued under the instruction of several Russian Ballet Masters, including: Madame Eugenia Feodorova and Madam Tatiana Leskova. At age sixteen She became a professional dancer with Sindicato de Danca do Rio de Janeiro Brazil. She has taught Classical Ballet since that age and danced nationally and internationally.She traveled to continue her studies in Germany when she was awarded a scholarship. She teaches Vaganova and French Syllabus.
Ms. Aretuza owned and directed the Aretuza’s School of Dance in the Turks and Caicos Islands. She choreographed and performed at Miss Universe Turks and Caicos, where Grammy winning singers such as Alicia Keys, Michael Bolton and Lionel Richie performed.
Additionally, she participated in television commercials and in Soap Operas including, Quatro por Quatro” from Globo TV. Since moving to Orlando she has worked at Orlando Ballet School, teaching master classes and choreographing for Raskin Dance Studios, New Dimensions Dance Academy, Danz Force Xtreme, Emotions Dance Studio, D and L Dance Center, Central Florida Dance Center, Dr Phillips High School and several others.
Several years ago, she founded the Aretuza’s Ballerina Project a community performance group. She has choreographed for Creative City Project, The Shift and others. She dreams in creating a platform to help support the Arts and culture of Brazil here in America.
Now she is passing her 25 years of passion for the Art of Classical Ballet to aspiring dancers.
The Center for Contemporary Dance is a leading Florida production, education and incubation center, celebrating diversity and inclusion through excellence in dance. The company is responsible for the evolution of contemporary dance in the area, supporting the launch of 13 out of 15 regularly-presenting local contemporary dance companies. Over the past 16 years, the organization has been innovating dance education as an instrument for wellness, social change and advocacy for special populations.

Damien Simon, is a music composer / performer in Orlando, FL. Damien, a graduate of the Purchase Conservatory andUniversity College of Dublin, has been scoring and performing music for dance, orchestras/ensembles, film/television companies all over the world. Damien has garnered a unique style of contemporary and classical musics and presenting them with various mediums.From film in Australia, dance in NYC, to performing ensembles in Europe; Damien delivers the appropriate score for the project being produced.
